Carl began his career as a Associate Broker with The C. Chase Company- CORFAC International, a Minneapolis-based commercial real estate company and Corporate Facility Advisory, where he provided professional brokerage representation in acquisitions, dispositions and leasing. With experience in Multifamily, Retail, Office, Industrial and Land, Carl developed valuable expertise in a wide variety of commercial real estate products.
Immediately drawn to the development side of real estate, Carl found his passion . After careful consideration he made the decision to return to graduate school in order to study real estate at an MBA level and further his expertise and capabilities. Carl was subsequently accepted into the Clemson University Masters of Real Estate Development Program where he honed his skills in market analysis, finance and deal structuring, site planning, project management and operations.
More recently Carl worked with the development group at NAI Welsh Companies, a full-service commercial real estate company headquartered in the Twin Cities, where he was involved in site selection due diligence, risk adjusted cash flow modeling and development advisory. Carl was able to leverage his background to provide executable strategy for the company and produce immediate results.
Currently Carl lends his talents to the Minneapolis based Global Corporate Services group at CB Richard Ellis. In this role, he focuses on corporate portfolio oversight and transaction advisory both domestically and internationally.
Carl is a CCIM candidate and a 2009 FIABCI International Real Estate Federation scholarship winner.
